Principle targets. Thoriumpower Holding seeks important metals for new technologies and environment-friendly energy. Thoriumpower
Holding have found many of these metals in Norway. Mining rights will be applied for when surveys of the resources show they are commercially exploitable. When mining rights are granted, preparations
will be made for mining. Fensfeltet, Kisgruva and Tinnsjå copper mines are highest on the list of applications for mining rights.
Thorium for atomic energy. This energy can help to
solve problems caused by CO2 and heavy metals in the atmosphere. With these enormous quantities of energy it would also be possible to prevent the spread of deserts. Sea water can be desalinated and used
for irrigation and agriculture.
Platinum for fuel cells. Thorium reactors can also be used to split water atoms into oxygen and hydrogen. Hydrogen can for instance be used to supply
household electricity or as fuel in boats and cars. When hydrogen passes through a fuel cell with a platinum catalyst, it produces pure drinking water and electricity.
Indium, gallium, selenium and copper for solar energy. Indium, gallium, selenium and copper will revolutionise the solar cell industry. Solar panels are thin and flexible. It would be possible to
place them, for instance, in the lacquer on cars, or on house façades and roofs.
Titanium for wind energy. We also believe in wind turbines far out at sea, where the turbines are less
harmful to bird populations. Titanium could be an important material to build turbines strong enough to withstand the harsh climatic conditions.
We have rich deposits of all these special metals.
